Deanna Berry

After serving as an Arabic Cryptologic Linguist in the United States Marine Corps, Deanna entered the corporate world as a Marketing Assistant at Aaron Rents, Incorporated.   Within a few months, she took the reigns as Merchandising and Marketing Manager for the corporate furnishings division where she was responsible for developing the product line-up and coordinating the implementation of the merchandising plan and marketing strategy.

In 2013, Deanna joined McWhorter Capital Partners as Creative Director. Her role grew with the business culminating in her current position as Chief Operating Officer. Deanna has been instrumental in the development of the outdoor advertising sector of McWhorter Capital Partners since its inception. With the initial plant purchase in 2016, Deanna handled all aspects of the business from selling ad space, to land leases and accounting. When Horton Outdoor was founded in 2017, Deanna led the development of the website, contract management software, and accounting structure.  Currently, her role in Horton Outdoor is focused on due diligence for acquisitions and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the business.

Deanna attended the University of Georgia prior to military enlistment and later earned her Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Kennesaw State University.

Deanna Berry is a resident of Bartow County where she lives with her husband and two children.  She is active in her community and participates on numerous non-profit committees, boards and fundraising projects.
